Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone 30ml

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, its pure form of L-Ascorbic acid has been shown to have very good effect to reduce signs of aging, while having a luster-giving effect when applied topically. This water and silicone free formula contains 30% pure L-Ascorbic acid that remains stable because it does not contain water. Thanks to the very easy silicones, the product feels smooth against the skin, despite the formulas suspension format. Instead of the fast transient gritty feel you get with the original product Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%. The product is applied in the evening.

This product is a water-free suspension of 30% L-ascorbic acid powder. The Ordinarys range with vitamin C can be found in the following formulas:

Vitamin C suspension 23% in Silicone + HA Spheres 2%

Ascorbyl Glycoside Solution 12% (not available in the Nordic range)

Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% (not available in the Nordic range)

NOTE: The format of this formula is a suspension of very fine L-ascorbic acid powder which provides a high concentration of vitamin C. When you start using the product, you can for the first 1-2 weeks experience a very strong stinging sensation, until the skin has built up a higher level of tolerance. If the sensation is too strong and you feel discomfort, formula can be mixed with other creams or serums in your skin care routine until your skin has become used to it.

Please note that this product, in comparison with The Ordinarys silicone-free vitamin C-suspension 23% + HAVE Spheres 2%, gives a somewhat lesser effect of vitamin C. The extra Vitamin C content (30%) in this silicone base helps to compensate for the slightly less effective skin exposure.

Use:

Apply a small amount on your face in the evening. A tingling sensation may occur after application. If the feeling is too strong and you feel discomfort, the product can be diluted with other creams or serums during application.
